I loved that the batteries were included, and that it could be used right away. The instructions were easy to follow, and it's something that two kids can play with together. My boys went into our dark laundry room. One held the putty and stretched it out, and the other kid pointed the cute wand at it, and it totally glowed in the dark. The wand made it change colors. Then they switched places, and did the other role. The putty went back easily into the globe, and I was pleased that there were no issues with clean up. It's a great toy for role-playing and acting out scenes from the books. I think this is an awesome gift if you know a Harry Potter fan!</span>
