It's got to be really dark to see the light projected on anything. My kid was disappointed that there wasn't any sounds on the car. He loves flashlights so this is perfect for him. He also loves that it is a car and he can play with it day or night. The logo is brighter the darker the room is . It came with easy to read directions and was very easy to assemble. It is well made, very good quality and has an adjuster so it will fit perfectly. I love the way it will lights up, it gives it a realistic effect . I want to buy the whole collection of Marvel Avengers helmets now.
