It is just the right size for him to play with and have fun. He can move the figure in various ways and is developing his imagination. The action figure is a good quality product that should last him a long time for hours of fun. So happy it wont break or fall apart. He even fell asleep holding it a few times! Its waterproof and built well. Been in the pool and did just fine. It's a lil bigger than your average toy. Our boy is 5. It's about the only thing he wants to play with since he got it. It is a definitely well made product. The plastic that they used to make this is of a nice thickness so I don't think it's going to break if or when it gets thrown. The Spider-Man is big enough for him to play with. Not too small. He loved the fact that the arms and legs moved. He was even able to twist the head a bit. He played with the Spider-Man for hours and then wanted to sleep with it at night.
