There are a ton of little pieces for each Pokemon, there are six, so we put them in a divided plate so that when he was putting them together he didn't lose any pieces. It does take a while to put them together, but once they are together they can battle on the little field provided. The little field is made of a thin piece of cardboard, so I can't imagine it would last long. He has the Jumbo Mega Construx Pikachu which he enjoyed building and proudly displays. The new Pokemon Team Challenge set was alot of fun for him to build and he is also excited to be able to play with them. They have &ldquo;cool&rdquo; launching features and a stadium backdrop which he uses to setup pretend battles. I love that this set is fun to build and also allows him to play interactively with it! The mega construx pokemon trainer team challenge was a toy I can honestly see my 9 year olds playing with for quite a while. They were able to build the pokemon themselves, it took them a little while but they enjoyed it. Love that it comes with moving parts and a battle area.
