And he was really excited to get this one. Plastic that it's made of is good quality, sturdy and pieces fit well together. Didn't have any problem putting it together. But instructions are a little bit complicated. And the fact that all the pieces are pink didn't make it easy to assemble. So my son lost interest half way through. But I had fun finishing it! He spent many hours putting Mew together. I had to help him a few times because it was a little difficult for him to connect some of the pieces. The instruction booklet is very helpful! I liked how sometimes the directions would compare two pieces and be very clear which was the correct piece. Mew is well built, but I'm not sure we will keep him on the stand. My son liked that he is able to place Mew in different positions so that he can fight other Pokemon mega construction figures that he has. My 9 year old loves building &amp; being creative, this Meow was a great gift for him because he was able to build it without hesitation or confusion. After a while he asked me to finish putting it together but unfortunately I didn't have the time at the moment so he ended up quitting. I think maybe if there weren't quite so many pieces he would have followed through and really enjoyed it. We had no idea where to start and the pieces were hard to find all one color. He got frustrated and didnt finish. It took two adults to try to put together and 2 hrs . This was a huge hit with him. From the moment he opened the box, he quickly went to work building away. It was a breeze for him to put it together and he has been playing with it nonstop since then.
