I love that this product creates a way to make bracelets fast! Sometimes you just don't have the time to sit around for hours and string beads one by one. The pamphlet gives a lot of different ideas to make really cool and unique bracelets. While threading, the base tends to jump around a lot, so a heavier base would make the process even smoother. I also think this would be even better if it were battery operated. It can get a little hard on the wrists at times. This kit also requires glue, which is not mentioned on the outside packaging. Great idea to have the lid to the bowl have a funnel on the end that fits exactly into the tubes holding the beads! It makes putting the extra beads away quickly. All in all, my granddaughter had a lot of fun picking out beads and creating patterns for bracelets and necklaces. I was skeptical about the spinning feature but it actually works pretty well. We're able to get somewhere around 3-8 beads per spin, so it didn't take but a few minutes to get enough for a bracelet. The icing top also acts as a funnel to pour the beads back into the bottles.
