My 8 year old recently became interested in building sets and vulpix is one of her favorite Pokemon, so I couldn&rsquo;t pass it up. The instructions are easy to follow and the pieces are sorted out into bags from which you work. My kid only needed a little help at some points but did a majority of it on her own in a little over an hour. The figures are portable, which adds to the fun (though you can&rsquo;t be too rough or it falls apart, as we found out, lol). Sometimes when building with other blocks my son gets frustrated with the instructions or everything coming apart, that wasn't the case with this set. He has a few other similar sets from this line, so these were a great addition to his collection. One neat feature of these kits is since the little scenery elements are included in addition to the creatures, they can be used to create scenes (and the more you collect, the more interesting your play options become)! This particular set includes Eevee and Vulpix, which makes it great for role playing solo or with a friend or sibling. Vulpix is a bit intricate, so my son did ask for some help in building this kit. To get both Vulpix and Ninetales together is a treat. We really do love the Mega Pok&eacute;mon sets that combine building and our favorite past time, Pok&eacute;mon! This set was relatively easy for my 9-year-old to complete, but did have some tricky parts in the base that needed my help. My kiddo loves these characters so I was thrilled to find they make these building sets.
