They are easy for my two year old to grip and the stack as well as come apart nicely. The colors of the blocks is very vibrant and fun. There are also pictures, letters and numbers on them to help them learn. My son who is 8 also likes to build with them when he is playing with his sister. And it comes with a cute little Blue. :). The box is comes in is nice and sturdy and you can build on top of the lid.</span>
