It wasn't difficult to set up but an adult will need to set up. Game play is easy and fun. The thing you need to know about this game is that it's just super fun to squish the grapes and re-make them using the mold. Take a very tactile game, add in loose rules to minimize the competitive angle for younger players, and you have the makings of a good time and lots of laughs.</span>

It was a little challenging to get the pieces connected to the board, but after the first time, I believe it will be super easy to get started next time around. The play-doh was easy to mold using the molder, and believe me when I say I was using it all game because I couldn’t get away from the “pizza cutter!” I can see expanding this to 6 players by using some additional colors that might be on hand. Overall, the 9-11 year old kids even enjoyed it and made sure that when the game was over, every one of them got to try every Jam Zone smasher! Quick and easy game play, and fast to get out of the box and back in when you’re done.</span>

Using Play-doh to make your pawn adds a different level to the game, and I LOVE that you aren't "out" when you get smushed. My 9 year old, my husband, and myself all had a blast playing this game, despite the age differences. It is a board game, but a different style, and I really enjoyed that aspect. Have fun!</span>
