The head does not stand upright very well when attempting to style Jasmine's hair. I believe it would be better as a solid bottom. The hair gets matted and disheveled easily. She was so excited when she received this toy. It is a jasmine head that stands up so you can fix her hair. She loves to sit and fit the hair and pretend to curl it. She even washes with shampoo and conditioner, which helps her practice getting use to washing her own hair.
