Fun at first, but then disappointing. Even heavier cars aren't able to go the whole way down. It was bigger than expected (in a good way) and easy to set up. He loves being able to race the two cars against each other and figure out how one always wins vs. the other (nice little logical reasoning opportunity). It's easy to carry around too, we were able to take it with us to a friend's house without having to take any pieces apart, so that was useful. My older girls were surprisingly engaged, my oldest said it brought back memories of seeing the first Cars movie when she was little. This set has moved all over the house and yard for a variety of playtime scenes. She loves to play with cars and she loves the movie Cars so I knew she would love this! All of them get hours of fun playing with this racing playset. The kids love to race Lightning McQueen and Jackson Storm (which are included). Seeing which one will win is exciting to them each and every time! There are track diverters that allows you to change the course if you want and the two courses intersect which also allows the cars to change tracks from the one they initially began on. All this adds to the fun with the kids. It was very easy to put together and it is well made and sturdy. He will play with it for longer than any toy. He loves racing Lightning McQueen and Jackson Storm. He has figured out that one track is faster than the other. The track is just a bit uneven so it makes it slower than the other. There are also a lot of pieces to put together, but the directions make it easy to put together.
