The little story it has is super adorable. They are very well made and will last a long while. I personally like that they're not soft and stuffed. The clothes are removable which makes it versatile. Once my kids are old enough we can make some new clothes for them too. I pull this out to read and act out the story for my kids at bed time and they now ask for it. My only criticism would be that I wish they included the hats meantioned in the story. She loves these little alpacas especially the baby one. She will sit there and play with them for hours. I love watching them with these little critters and how it gets them excited to do pretend play. The alpaca family is more modest and traditional than a lot of the toys you see out there these days, and I really like that about them. The baby castle nursery sets the scene for the pretend play and is full of really neat detail.
