She thought it was the best little puzzle. She could easily pick up the pieces with her small hands. The puzzle was well made and durable. The wood is solid and not cheap. What I like that is different from some of the other is the wood handle is easy to pick up for toddlers. It has a spherical top that is easy to grab. Some puzzles only have a cylindrical small grabber which I think is harder for little hands to grab. The sphere is definitely more visible. Another feature is that the puzzle has the same photo on the puzzle price and the a lot so your toddler can visually see where to put it. This is great. My son is one year old and still learning the concept and how to use it. Over time he will pick it up. It's great for eye coordination because the child has to make sure the pieces is placed in the right spot. It's helps them with matching with the pictures. Perfect as an intro to puzzles for little ones. Simple yet beautiful and colorful pictures and shapes to match up. The pieces are fun and silly and the kids love to talk about that is going on in the scene. They really packed a lot into one puzzle, we practice animals and their noises and vehicle recognition.
