They created cute little animals that they loved tk show off. I do recommend that you have plenty of refills. It includes plenty of different patterns to create, or make your own. The thing I love the most is that it just uses water, you don't need to iron it or anything, so it is actually something my 6 year old can do with little supervision! It comes with everything you need to start making things with aquabeads. It came with a variety of colors, and a base to set the beads on, making it fun and easy to make your creation. My only complaint is that I wish it had a second board or two so multiple people could make things at a time. I did not download the instructions because I was concerned about getting a virus but the instructions that comes with the kit is easy to follow. The kit has a few design patterns or you can freestyle and create your own design. I love the different colors of beads and the case thats included in the kit is strong and sturdy. I suggest Spreading the beads out to make it easy to pick them up with the applicator. Once the beads dry they remain together.
