His clothes and sandals are removable although my daughter says his shirt is a little hard to get on. It would be nice if there was a tiny piece of velcro on the front of the shirt to hold it closed if desired. It flops open a lot, but since it's supposed to be a bathing suit I guess that is understandable. The clothes are right on for sixty years ago, along with his hair! He is well made and my grand daughter loves playing with him and has already partnered him with one of her many Barbie dolls. I only wish he could bend a little. It was really nice to see my kids play with Ken - they got creative and had an indoor pool party! I especially liked that Ken's sandals didn't fall off easily. I was expecting to be able to manipulate the arms &amp; legs of this doll. Needless to say, this doll did not hold my boys attention very long.
