Both play with it equally- sometimes they actually end up fighting for it, oops. Sounds are VERY realistic- one time they had it in the car and pushed the button and it scared me forgot it was the toy ha. Good quality and is holding up well. When using the truck the wheels move so its easy for kids to play with and looks more realistic.
