<span itemprop="description">I got this set for my 2 yr old daughter bc she has shown interest in blocks. I am a Lego lover and figured this would be a great set for her to start out. I also bought the classic duplo brick set with storage box and we love that one too! I’m so excited to legos in the house that are big enough for her to play with! <span itemprop="description">Being a lifelong Lego fan and a proud Asian father, this was the perfect set for my daughter. It helps build their interest in Lego and doubles as a dollhouse as well.
The only problem with this set is the Asian father - I don't know why Lego decided to color his hair brown when everyone else's hair is black. I also notice in their new Asian-themed set that the Asian dad is missing. Not many Asian men in their Duplo sets either, despite Asian boys and men making up a significant Lego fan base. It almost seems that they're trying to suggest something...
Anyways, the problem was solved by using a permanent black marker to "dye" his hair black, but it should have been black from the beginning.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Bought this for my daughter who was turning 4. I love teaching her my culture through this set and the three generations of figurines was really thoughtful. The details were magnificent and you can clearly tell LEGO did it’s research on what Chinese New Year is all about. We use this set along with other building sets to make new creative things. I absolutely love this and warms my heart that LEGO developed a set that is fun, beautiful and educational. Would love to see more cultures and places in future sets.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love that LEGO is embracing and making sets reflecting different families and cultures. My 3-year-old and 6-year-old were so excited when this set arrived. The box is huge and this is a substantial Duplo set. My kids put it together following the instruction book without needing my help, and have played with it for hours. The set has great details that kept my kids engaged - not only was it fun for them to build, but the playability is fantastic. There are little plates of food, a dining area, kitchen, living room, a kid’s bedroom, full bathroom, and Duplo figures of a multi-generational family that my kids love to pretend play with. This is a great set and I highly recommend it for the preschool/ early elementary school age group.</span>

As a first generation Chinese American, I’ve been buying the Chinese themed legos these past few years because I want my child to have more exposure to Chinese culture. It would be great if Lego creates more duplo and legos for other cultures in the world too so that we can use them to help broaden our knowledge of the different people in this world.</span>
