I've so far built the London and New York sets and Dubai is my favourite won as it definitely stands out from the rest. The level of detail is impressive and the buildings are beautifully designed with some interesting techniques used to assemble them. Looks great on my shelf.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-02-01</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-02-01" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="172545076"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">MattMussorgsky</span> from <span itemprop="name">Really nice but a bit unstable</span> <span itemprop="description">I love this set. I have all the Architecture skylines and this one definitely stands out from the rest of the collection. The build was challenging enough, there's some really nice elements, and the end product is really eye-catching. My only complaint of this set is that it is so unstable, I have to handle it incredibly carefully when moving it or dusting it. All the Architecture skylines are usually pretty solid, this one feels like it's about to snap. Burj Khalifa teeters and feels like it's about to fall off and the Jumeirah Hotel halves wobble in place. Overall a very nice set, I just don't get why they greenlit this set for release being so unstable.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-01-29</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-01-29" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="171885533"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Konstantin</span> from <span itemprop="name">Excellent</span> <span itemprop="description">My son (5 years old) is a big fan of buildings and construction. I think the use of studs for construction on the Burj Khalifa is a great method, the Jumeirah Emirates Towers were fun to build, and the Burj Al Arab is one of the coolest looking structures I've ever seen. The only thing I have changed in the set is on the front-right base of the Burj Khalifa to put the anti-stud in the back, so that only smooth surfaces show in the front. Overall, I think this set has some great buildings from Dubai, and it gives off a great feel to have on my shelf.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-12-28</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-12-28" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="170161225"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">2</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">AFOLRob</span> from <span itemprop="name">Boring</span> <span itemprop="description">I've been a fan of the Architecture sets for as long as I can remember, I mainly only get the locations where I've visited but on this set I decided to grab it now rather than over paying for it later in life. The set in all honestly is the most boring set I've ever done, I was so bored looking at the soulless buildings that I'd had enough of it. I didn't even get as far as the Burj Khalifa. When you build something like the London, Paris or Tokyo ones it's good fun, all the buildings have character, this one was sucking the life out of me! I might pick it in the coming weeks but as Architecture sets go, this is by far the worst one out there, unless you want them all, I'd say give it a miss.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-12-22</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-12-22" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="165647179"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">mjyu323</span> from <span itemprop="name">Excellent set, but with missing piece</span> <span itemprop="description">Overall, this is a great set with beautiful design and moderate difficulty. This one was my least favorite because of the Burj Al Arab. I think the siding looks cheap and kept falling off. It also seems to not have as many features as the other skylines. Dubai is a really cool city, I don&rsquo;t feel like this accurately showed it.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-09-11</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-09-11" /> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection').style.display = 'none'; } </script> <!--end-reviews--> <!--begin-pagination--> <ul id="bvseo-paginationSection"> <li class="bvseo-paginationItem"><a class="bvseo-paginationLink" href="https://www.toysrus.ca/en/LEGO-Architecture-Dubai-21052/647EC9EF.html?bvstate=pg:2/ct:r">LEGO Architecture Dubai 21052 Reviews - page 2</a></li> </ul> <!--end-pagination--> <ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">y_2021, m_5, d_5, h_17</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.15</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasreviews, tv_7, tr_20</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_CA, sid_647EC9EF, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=SUBMISSION_TIME, direction=DESCENDING)]</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_toysrus-ca</li> </ul> <!--end-bvseo-reviews--> <ul id="BVSEOSDK_meta" style="display: none !important;"> <li data-bvseo="sdk">bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0</li> <li data-bvseo="sp_mt">CLOUD, getReviews, 8ms</li> <li data-bvseo="ct_st">reviews, product</li> </ul>
