I especially like the platform that you build upon. Although, this can still be knocked over somewhat easily, but it's a lot easier to put back together. The cage that spins the marbles is a really fun feature. But sliding the button across to sound the music is kind of awkward. It would be nice if just turning the handle would activate the sound and it was just a simple on/off switch. As an adult I enjoyed building this. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. My oldest is 4.5 and she's not capable of putting it together herself yet. The one feature that I don't like is the elevator. The marbles get stuck underneath and you have to do dig them up. My 4.5 year old and my toddler have a hard time getting them out. It isn't the easiest for me either. And they end up knocking some of the structure over. They are ages 4-11 and with the colorful building pieces and step by step building guide they were easily able to put it together and have so much fun but also have learning fun. They love dropping the marbles in and keeping them moving. My 4:year old especially loves the music and light show like it's the best thing ever. The effects really keep them engaged. The marbles go easily through and don't get stuck and I really like that it has a fill and tip barrel, vortex, slow mo track, an elevator and a cork screw tumbler so the marbles aren't just going down a slide, but keep moving. However, I have been truly amazed at how great it's been at keeping both my 3 yo and 7 yo busy creating marble systems. It's accessible and functional enough that they can work together to build large systems and also separate and build their own smaller systems near each other (when a fight breaks out!). They've both been able to figure out how to build with the different pieces very quickly, and I've loved seeing them have to problem-solve to get the marbles to go and do what they want! Seriously, they will play with this for over an hour at a time! We had some other kids over, and several parents asked where they could also buy a set, so it seems to be a real winner. Some of the pieces you do have to fiddle with a bit to get them to fit and, obviously, you better have a way to keep it all contained and stored because there are a LOT of pieces. But once all set it's a blast I would recommend for any kiddos under 5 to be supervised because of the marbles so those pose as a hazard but really if your on the look out for a stem product this is definitely a cool one I'd highly recommend. It's not very easy to set up following the directions, I even had a hard time figuring out what piece was suppose to be used. My kids had more fun coming up with their own designs. It took a little bit to put together, but it wasn&rsquo;t too bad. My 5 year old especially loves the music and all the different places you can drop the ball(s). I love that it comes with so many balls, so if you have more than 1 kid playing with it, you don&rsquo;t have to wait for a super long time to get a turn. But the pieces don&rsquo;t stay together well. The mobile base is a great detail, but tiny bumps were sending other pieces flying apart, the base just wasn&rsquo;t enough help to hold the rest together. The marbles that are included are small plastic balls. They don&rsquo;t have enough weight to go through some of the rails properly. So if your floor is slightly uneven, this won&rsquo;t be for you as the marbles will get stop half way through a run. I&rsquo;m also not a fan of receiving stickers to add to my kids toys. I&rsquo;d rather pay a little more just to have them printed on the piece or done at manufacturing than adding them myself. My kids always wind up ripping them off when they see me add them. The winding part of the run only works half the time. Again because of the weight of the marble it often gets stuck or flips out and goes backwards. The best part of this is the music. The music on the winding toy is some of the best music I&rsquo;ve heard on a kids toy.
