It comes with smaller parts, which are easy to lose. He put it together and it has been sitting on his dresser ever since. The instructions are very easy to follow and it's exciting to watch how this mini treasbot formed! My son soaked the body to make the gold color disappear and turned into blue! My child loves it, he enjoyed watching the outer layer come off. He thought it was so cool to see the finished color. He played with it for hours. It's a simple toy but my child loves it. The only drawback is the directions are pictures with no words. He got it all situated, got the directions out and went to town. The only thing I didn&rsquo;t like that when you are washing it off, it was a little sticky. Once you add it in water it only takes a few minutes for it to reveal which one it is. He had fun waiting and then putting it together. My only issue is that it does make a little bit of a mess in whatever you put the water in for it to reveal. So I would recommend using a cup that is a disposable.
