My son loves the excavations but the toy itself is just ok. It is for ages three and above and not recommend for ages below three due to choking hazards. The set comes with a very detailed manual and clear instructions on how to assemble and play the game. There are eight levels of adventure. He is eight years old and love putting things together. We enjoy this little mini bot. He played with it all day long I&rsquo;m doing it and putting it back together. It kept him occupied for a long time playing with it. He really enjoyed this little bot . I would only recommend this toy to kids that are eight years old and older it does come with a few tiny pieces so if you have any little ones around the house just be careful with it.
