The horses look just like the cartoon. All of the pieces are great quality. The hair is silky and easy to brush. Everything is so cute. My daughter plays with the horses while watching the show now. My daughter loved the beautiful long hair on these horses and that you could style and brush the hair. Her and a friend had fun designing their horse&rsquo;s hair styles and then playing with them afterwards. It comes with many little flowers to clip in with the special applicator which comes with this toy. It also contains to 2 ribbons you can just clip in. The applicator is easy to use once you get the hang of it. My kids are obsessed with styling Chica Linda &amp; foal&rsquo;s hair. This comes with a unique mirror that opens up to clip accessories into the mane and tails. The opposite end detached the hair accessories. Lots of hair beads are included, along with two ribbon clips, a brush, and trough. The hair is silky smooth and the horses are high quality. She really likes having the 'mama' horse and her 'baby' horse together to play with and brush their hair. I noticed that the packaging was pretty difficult to open and that the horses' hair sheds more than I expected it to. There are also lots of little clips and hair ornaments with a tool to help place them in the mane. I could get them onto the hair more efficiently without using it but I think using the tool is a good fine-motor activity for young ones. I was also a little disappointed with Chica Linda's blanket, it is pretty flimsy. She doesn't want the Spirit show but she LOVES horses and this set is so cute. It is fun to play with on its own with a &quot;mama&quot; horse and a &quot;baby&quot; horse and so many accessories! But she also likes to use them with her Barbies and Chelsea's and make horse lessons and princess stories etc. The hair on the horses is really nice quality not the kind that feels really plasticy and falls out of some toy horses. When it arrived I was surprised at how big the horses actually are, I imagined them to be much smaller. The packaging was easy to open through the back perforated panel, definitely a plus when you have an excited child who can&rsquo;t wait to play with the new toy. It comes with two horses, Chica Linda and a foal. There are quite a few bows and flowers that come with this set. They attach to the pony&rsquo;s hair with a tool that is also a mirror. The backing goes on one side and the flower goes on the other. Then you put the hair between the two and close to snap it together. Although the flowers are quite easy to attach, they are kind of a pain to remove. The mirror/attaching tool also takes them off, but it&rsquo;s a little tough for my 5 year old to do. I find it easier to use my fingernail to remove them. My daughter loves that the flowers and bows come in a variety of colors. There is also a trough where you can keep all of the little pieces. It would have been a better idea to have a small case with some type of lid instead of the trough to keep all of the hair accessories in so they don&rsquo;t fall out and get lost. We have placed them all in a small plastic ziplock bag. The set also comes with a small brush which works well to brush through the pony&rsquo;s hair. The horses themselves are made of hard plastic, so easy to clean off if they get messy.
