This mama Chica and foal set were perfect birthday gifts for her. She loves them and has spent hours playing with them. My daughter loves Spirit, and was very excited to see these in the box. The hair decorations didn't stay very well, and my daughter got frustrated because she could either decorate them and then display them OR play with them, but she couldn't play with them once they were decorated. The hair accessories were easy for her to use on her own (she is 9) and she enjoyed styling the horses&rsquo; hair. I find the small pieces easy to lose, and the &ldquo;container&rdquo; that comes with the kit for placing the parts in would be better if it had a lid on it. However, I found another small container to store the parts in. The horses are beautiful, well made, and easy for my daughters to style. It comes with many little flower accessories that easily attach to the horses mane, a brush, and a little trough. If your child is a fan of Spirit, this toy provides a lot of imaginative play and I would definitely recommend it. I love that it comes with 2 horses and tons of accessories. My daughter plays with this for hours at a time. She loves the little clip tool that helps attach the flowers to the horses maines. The horses are both good sizes and seem to be of good quality.
