My kids love trying new toys, and we're excited to try this one. The controls work properly, but you have to be careful once you lift off since this toy will fly really quick up, and you could damage it by hitting the ceiling. The good thing is that it comes with replacement parts in case something breaks from the wing. By all means, the product itself is not indestructible, so if you don't use it correctly, there's a chance it will break. I would not recommend outdoor use and be sure you explain to the child how to correctly use the remote. The product also comes with a charger and lasts a while before recharging. After a couple of tries with it the legs were popping out and hard to get back to normal. Trying to maneuver this toy was super challenging in my opinion. It was hard to get it to stay at a certain height In the sky and it was no easy task to make it go in the direction you want it to go in. The light up feature was pretty neat. I think the catch phrases would be cooler if they came from the actual spiderman rather than the remote. The kids were all super excited to see it fly. They thought it was awesome and exciting. It&rsquo;s quite hard to fly for a kid. Several adults tried and many still crashed it either to the ceiling or it came crashing down. Box says 8+ but I think it should be older. It does fly pretty fast. I couldn&rsquo;t seem to get the Spider-Man to actually stand by itself to launch though. It just keeps falling so we end up having to hold it in our hands to launch. My kid still enjoyed it though frustrated he couldn&rsquo;t fly it.
