I emailed them and they sent me another one. The second one had no issues connecting and my boys had a blast. Battery life lasts and it sounds really cool. Charging time (spiderman) was good. It flies up and goes side to side. They were able to work the controls and fly it even at a decent distance away. The toy is pretty durable and is good quality so it can withstand some hard landings too. The battery lasts about 20 minutes with a full charge. It&rsquo;s light weight and does fly well. The plastic wings are fairly flexible, so it&rsquo;s able to be safely flown indoors without damaging your walls. Easy to charge with the provided charger and battery life is pretty good. It is a little top heavy and the legs are skinny so it is not able to stand on its own. There was a provided black stand that you can launch it off of but it was more trouble than what it was worth. When flying outdoors after flying so high, it disconnects and crashes to the ground. After a few flies and crashes to the grassy yard part of the jetpack cracked and now it no longer works. You can feel the propellers trying to engage when using the remote, but they won&rsquo;t work as they should. I found that it was a bit difficult to operate because Spider-Man himself doesn't actually stand by himself on a flat even surface. If there is a slightly sloped surface, I can actually get him to stand on his own with all the blades facing towards the front of the toy. It's nice that it comes with extra blades in case you damage the other blades. The first toy I received didn't actually move left or right other than just twirl right or twirl left. The second toy I received after I contacted the company does slowly drift right, but, unfortunately, only twirls left when I try to move the toy left. I can't say that I would actually buy this toy for a gift. I wish there were a stand that would hold Spider-Man in place (rather than me holding the controller one hand and Spider-Man in my other hand to make it fly). It makes it easy for the kids to direct Spiderman. The lights are so bright! My kids enjoyed using this in the evening and seeing the place light up. It was hard working on landing, and my kids crashed it a few times. One of those times caused minor damage that affected the rest of their use.
