She was very excited for the color changing aspects of this project and the ability to be able to male the characters outfit look anyway she wants. The pieces where the prefect size to promote independence. First, the good things. It's so cute! The dolls are adorable and the detail is great. My kids absolutely love the dolls and love all the different clothing options. They have so much fun mixing and matching different outfits. They can play with them for hours and hours. I also think the size of the dolls is great. Small enough to make it easy to take them anywhere, but not too small. Now for the things I don't love: some of the clothes are SO HARD to change, even for me. There are some that my kids absolutely can't get on and off the dolls without my help. I feel like it's only a matter of time before they tear because it's so difficult. The silver shoes get twisted every time my kids take them off and they can't untwist them. The unicorn closet (is that what is supposed to be?) that the toy came with is cute, but honestly my kids haven't played with it hardly at all. They just like the clothes and dolls. It is fun how you can push the unicorn horn down to lower the clothes into the water to change the colors, but I feel like that set up will also make it really easy to knock over the closet and spill the water. I was confused by the color changing clothes. It seems that only some change colors, but there was nothing to identify which ones will or won't change. The color changing definitely works better with really cold water, and you need to give it a minute for some. The colors fade quickly. So overall, this is a fun toy. My kids love it. The packaging was easy enough for my granddaughter to open it without needing adult assistance. To be clear, this set is larger than the original Polly Pocket play sets, but this is in no way a bad thing. 2 dolls (both super cute), lots of clothing options to swap for different looks and a color changing dipping tub. The clothing is very easy to change and little hangers provided for the extras. The closet itself is very nicely made, it&rsquo;s sturdy enough for real play not just for show. It's easy to use on the go as it folds up easy for caring. I love that it came with two dolls. It is a little brittle as it is made of hard plastic. We took it outside on a nice day and filled the tank with water and dipped all the clothes in the water to reveal their unique designs. The girls loved the added accessories of necklace, shoes and hats. They made numerous outfit changes on each of their dolls. The only thing we did have an issue with was the sponge applicator to put water on the clothes broke the first time we played with it. Recently we had a sleepover and the girls asked to play with their Polly Set. Great toy and keeps them engaged and playing.
