The ride is very smooth and its ability to switch to pedals is really seamless. It came in decent packaging, was fairly easy to put together, and my child absolutely loves this balance bike. I love that this balance bike can convert to a regular bike so I don't have to waste money on a second bike once he gets the hang of it. I really like the Allen wrench holder on the bike because you need this to adjust the pedals, seat and tighter handle bars. My daughter thought it was cool and wanted to try it with and without pedals. Cons: it's fairly heavy (15lbs), and this is suppose to be for 2-5 years, I could probably see closer to 5 unless you have a bigger than average 2-5 year old. My daughter is almost 4 and weighs 30lbs, she is a bit petite but still. She's bigger than a 2 year old. We have another balance bike that is 5lbs and she is able to pick it up and balance it better. He had issues leaning how to pedal with a regular bike, so this was a cheap way for him to at least get the idea that a bike goes forward and fast! Not an issue now, but this was a great learning tool. The wheels are the best part, cause they never need to be inflated. They are hard and durable polymer/rubber combo. This bike is best used on FLAT concrete or asphalt. There are NO BREAKS, so be careful on hills. We started with it in balance mode as she has not had much experience riding anything besides a tricycle. She loves pushing it around the block and riding it down some small hills. It is easy to adjust the height of the seat and the handlebars. It is very quick and easy to just flip the pedals up into the frame when you are using the bike in balance mode to keep the pedals out of the way. It love how my daughter is building up her confidence and balance skills prior to having the pedals down. Hopefully, there will be a few less wipe-outs one day. We have tried the bike with the pedals down one time and it worked great but my daughter is not quite ready for it. I like how I can easily try it to see if she is ready. I look forward to the day that she can use it as a pedal bike but for now we are sticking to the balance bike. It is really convenient to have this little two in one bike! The bike is super easy to assemble This bike really helps the child to walk, glide and balance on their own. The design looks beautiful and attracts the kids very much which makes them excited about riding it and balance on their own every day. This looks great and is best for little kids who have never ridden before and works as a first bike and make them ready to ride a bike with pedals. This is easy to use and easy to maintain and doesn't need to maintain the air pressure. This is light in weight but has a strong aluminum frame which makes it very durable and should last longer. I love that handlebar and seat are adjustable so this bike will grow with your child over a period of time. The handle grips are comfortable to hold and would not cause any discomfort for the little hands.
