It was too big and heavy for her then, so we put it away for the winter. Just got it back out today. My 3 year-old is 38&quot; tall and 30lbs, had her measured at the doctor on Tuesday. The rear wheel of the bike gets stuck and she has trouble pedaling. She also bumps her left leg on the bar that the pedal is supposed to attach to, and she complains that it hurts her. Maybe closer to 3.5 to 4 yr old. Bought this for my 2.5 yr old son, and his feet doesn't even reach the floor. The info on the website doesn't specifically state it is 5.9kg/13lbs. It is easy to install (even for a female rushing to have everything setup alone), it has got pedals that can be folded in and the bike is actually very sturdy. It came in decent packaging, was fairly easy to put together, and my child absolutely loves this balance bike. I love that this balance bike can convert to a regular bike so I don't have to waste money on a second bike once he gets the hang of it.
