After set up I didn't want to play anymore. There are alot of small cardboard pieces that you pop out for set up. You have to place them all in front of the islands. This makes it hard when trying to move your player around the board. Things just falling over. Getting mixed up. You have to really read the directions to figure out who discovered the island and how many things to pick up if you land on yours or someone else's island. The players are cute. That being said, after the very annoying long set up time (lots of punching pieces out of cardboard) it was the perfect game for my 7 year old. She quickly picked up on the rules and has made me play with her at least 3 times a day since we got it. A game can go very quickly so it keeps her attention and it's pretty fun to play as an adult so I don't mind the endless games! If you have an Animal Crossing fan in your house this is a great game.
