In this Monopoly board game, players can enjoy island life and immerse themselves in the colorful and creative world of Animal Crossing New Horizons. Moving around the board with tokens inspired by the video game, players complete island tasks and meet other characters. Instead of buying properties and paying rent, players collect bugs, fish, fossils, and fruit. They can also stop at Nook's Cranny and cash in Bells to buy decorations. Decorations are worth Nook Miles and the player with the most Nook Miles wins the game. Monopoly: Animal Crossing New Horizons board game is for ages 8 and up and makes a fun indoor activity for kids.

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So my 9 year old daughter was super excited for this Animal Crossing game to come out, be I was a bit intimidated because I never played the game like she has. 1st off it comes with a few cardboard sheets of pop out token type things, which I recommend having a ziplock bag ready to store them in. Then there's 4 characters, some cards, and dice. There's still a " Go to Jail" spot which is kind of funny. Each player has to make it around the board once before collecting the 1st skill card as I understand it....but again I could be totally wrong, because when reading the instructions, I got super confused. On the back of the token things there's numbers and that's counted as money that you can spend on buying properties or when you draw a card and you have to pay the bank. I'm sure after playing some more or maybe watching a Youtube tutorial I can better understand how to play, but it's just totally different than the original game!</span>

It is literally like a paper version (plus regular monopoly) of the video game and keeps you engaged with each other instead of just hooked to the screen. The little characters and game pieces are unique to the game, and it comes with a specialized game play detailed booklet to help you navigate through it's uniqueness. Great quality game oars, and great quality time with family.</span>

There were too may little pieces to keep track of. Had to get a feel little zip locks to hold the pieces. It was easy to setup with my 8 year old grand daughter. The game was easy to play and to understand the rules. We liked the game pieces(characters). They are light and easy to move around while playing the game. The board game feels very well made. We liked the board game features like the shopping for nooks and nanny as we pass go and discovering the islands. We really enjoyed playing this game and will continue to play over and over again. Overall, a great, fun, easy game for kids to play and understand.</span>
