The older one is a Pokemon player and fan and the little one does what his older brother does. The older one was very excited to get a buildable model of some of his favorite Pokemon characters. They spent about 45 minutes together following the instructions and building the models. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. Bricks fit tight and solid as should be expected. They were very happy overall when complete. The figures looked good and stood on their one. My son and husband built them together. My son really likes playing with them, he just does not like that some of the pieces come off if he is playing with them a little quickly or if he accidentally bumps them into something and then he has to put them together again. All the pieces are great quality and the colors are vibrant and match well together. We love the glowing orb, it is a really fun addition to the set. My 7 year old was able to follow the directions with some help from an adult but did have trouble getting pieces to connect completely and even my finger tips were a little sore after snapping pieces together. Once all put together, they hold together really well and my child is able to pose them and play with them without it falling apart.
