My 6 year old is obsessed with hot wheels and my 4 year old loves monster trucks so this is a perfect combination. The cars built pretty fast, the instructions are a bit more confusing then Lego, so I would say a 6 year old would still need help. The boys loved the wiggly tires, and turning the box into a ramp is a great idea! It was very easy to follow the directions and find the parts by the numbers on the bags great idea. Very accurate. It was easy to put together the pieces were big enough to manage even for a 3.5 year old. The older kids super easy and got their imagination going to create new designs for the trucks. He&rsquo;s taken to the cars and the action figures that come with it quite well. It&rsquo;s been common to hear monster truck noises all though the house as he runs around with his cars. The instructions were extremely easy to follow , which was good , given the amount of pieces . They make it very clear how the pieces connect to each other . My son loves monster trucks so he loved the idea that he could build his own . The box can also be used as a ramp for the cars , which provided an extra element of fun . The only thing I wish was different about the toy is that the big monster truck comes apart pretty easily once it&rsquo;s built so we had to keep putting it together. That&rsquo;s minor though . As a whole this is a great toy and great to help kids develop spatial reasoning and have fun at the same time . It took some time to build, so that part took some patience. But great fun once it was done. He really likes that the figures come apart and can be interchangeable. It&rsquo;s holding together well while being played with, so that&rsquo;s great. Since it&rsquo;s a monster truck that&rsquo;s meant to run over the car, you don&rsquo;t want it falling apart easily. It&rsquo;s neat how the truck sort of wobbles on its frame just like a real monster truck would kind of shift back and forth.
