Watching my niece's joy as she carefully piece together the LEGO and watching the mechanisms come together was great. The attention to detail and vibrant colours were a great feel to the set also, as the beach vibes are some of her favourite scenes with toys/sets. It was not very easy to put it together with my child, but she has never given up and we put it together. We like the very colourful and playful set. I am really impressed with the quality of it. Although it was my eldest who built it, my little one at 6 was next to her the whole time and loved seeing each section come together. She played as it was being built and the older one just loved building it as she takes great jot and satisfaction in building Lego sets. The added bonus on this set is the internal working gears that operate all the items, they loved building it and it has been played with every day since they started the Amusement Park was built. But the bags were labelled with numbers making the process easier, we used the book that came with the set to build the set but you can also use the Lego app that is available to download to help with the build. My children did need some adult help with some pieces of the build. The instructions were very easy to follow and the kids were able to put most of the set together without help. After having a closer look, there's no indication of the no. of pieces in this set. I wonder if it's because it is made as an interactive playset so there's no &quot;fixed set&quot; of pieces. However, because of this, it was quite overwhelming opening up the packaging to see so many packs and pieces to this amusement park set. I trialled this lego with my 6 year old niece, who is on the lower age range of the trial age group. In the beginning, she is very excited to built the set. However, because each pack or instruction is in stages, she grow curious of what it actually builds. This was a good thing in the beginning. However, some of the smaller pieces are quite finite (i.e. the cross fittings for spindles etc) hence was quite challenging for my niece's little finger to put together. This set definitely requires patience with my little one. My daughter found the theme of a beach amusement park exciting and loves that it has interconnected moving parts. This appears to be a great way to introduce technical lego to younger children. Ten bags of coloured excitement to put together with step by step instructions as lego provides! It took us as a family working together around 2.5 hours to assemble, however the fun achieved from it far outweighs building time! The details are incredible down to the small toys on the stand. The way that turning the handle makes multiple parts of the lego set move is genius. A surfer, a water toy stand and interactive ride make the imagination run away!
