However, I did apply to review this set as it was aged 6-12, but this set is definitely 12+. My little one had some trouble (6 yrs old) putting some elements together, but that did make for an excellent bonding fun time with the whole family getting involved. She has also had heaps of fun playing with the final build and loves the movement and how everything fits together.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I ordered this for myself (aged 68 living in the UK) as I thought it would be a very interesting build.... but I also bought the same set for my 7 year old granddaughter in Australia from a shop local to her. Both our sets were delivered on the same day and my granddaughter was straight into hers, so I was playing catch up with the promise I wouldn't finish before her. We had a super time building together even though we're on opposite sides of the globe. She found the instructions easy to follow and only had one little problem with the placement of a brick so we worked through it together via a video chat. The last bag we built at the same time (rather a very late night for me due to the 9 hour time difference) and we completed the build at the same time. Then we had a good play with the figures and all the fun things they could do at the amusement park.
She (and I) thought all the moving parts were super fun and well designed which made this a really great set. The only thing she commented on was that there would be more rides at a theme park so I think we will have to challenge ourselves and add a few more 'attractions'
Building this set together was a moment to treasure and reminded me of how I used to build Lego when I was 7 years old with my dad.</span>

Being able to show the kids the moving cogs, how they interact with each other and the link from the handle to the movement of the attractions was a great teaching tool. Watching my niece's joy as she carefully piece together the LEGO and watching the mechanisms come together was great. The attention to detail and vibrant colours were a great feel to the set also, as the beach vibes are some of her favourite scenes with toys/sets. The Ferris wheel's spins were one of her favourite sections of this set however, she loved the designs of the creatures.Overall its a very solid set, but perhaps wouldn't be comparative to some of the other sets around that my niece already has, however, even as an adult, assisting my niece, it was still a lot of fun helping her put this all together.</span>
