<span itemprop="description">I thought the was this set was built was really cool and there were some pretty interesting and unique ways to build parts of this car which I found really fun. The mechanism to flip the wheels into hover mode was really solid and the interior of the car is really nice. My only issues here were that the doors that open up vertically were super cool but they do not stay up which was a bummer. I also with that the exterior color had been printed in more of that chrome/shiny grey rather than the standard light grey to reflect more what this car actually looks like. Also, the stand for the hover display mode is just 4 1x2 translucent bricks that fall off pretty easy. Something just slightly more sturdy would have been nice for display. Overall, very fun to build and cool details.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The moment I saw this advertised I bought it! I actually felt it was quite a challenging build, but only because it was so detailed. I loved the iconic aspects coming together to create this beautiful replica. Also enjoyed the little snippets of behind the scenes info scattered throughout the manual.
As others have mentioned, the lovely gull-wing doors are too heavy to stay open by themselves, which would have been nice to display with one open… but it’s a minor gripe as the overall build was probably one of the best I’ve done and always makes me smile when I look at it.</span>

I do wish they would throw in the few extra pieces for the Mr. Fusion and 1800’s parts to make it easier to swap between versions. I also 3D printed a wire to go from the “hook” to the plutonium chamber. Thanks, Lego, Mayor Goldie Wilson would be proud!</span>

I had to debate which build to do, but I decided with some help to make the second one as two of my fav quotes are said between the end of the first film and the start of the second. Build wise, it isn't hard but the back part can be a bit flimsy when building. It is a nice set and one I'd recommend.</span>

This set though? Fantastic!! It looks spectacular, and it has some amazing features - like the working gull-wing doors and functioning hover-conversion! That wheel flip mechanism is genius. The build is lots of fun and it is very sturdy when completed. The detail is great, and the options to build a version for each movie is a nice touch. Very well done!</span>

So I was very excited when I saw the release of the DeLorean time machine. After about 30 minutes into the build I remembered one key thing - this wasn't a car I was building it was a time machine.
Really enjoyable build, as mentioned in other reviews the different build options makes this set very versatile. It is an amazing display piece. Great value for money.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Had great fun building the new Lego DeLorean. I had the previous 2014 version, but this update is so much better. It took several hours to build but that's always part of the fun with Lego, isn't it? The finished article is fantastically detailed, with lots of nice little touches. My only niggle, which is very minor, is that in choosing which version of the time machine to build (i.e. as it appears in BTTF 1, 2 or 3), I had to choose a licence plate sticker. I hoped that the licence plates would be interchangeable, in case I want to change the look of the car to suit one of the other films. That tiny complaint aside, I love this kit!</span>

The final model was pretty straightforward to build although the doors could have been a little sturdier. They also didn't stay open by themselves.
I liked the three options to choose although I would have liked train tracks and wheels to recreate the locomotive ride and would rather not have reused bricks for the fusion engine options for Part I and Part II favouring a straightforward swap.
Minor quibbles really as it's a great looking model. Love the Skateboard and Plutonium Case, light up Flux Capacitor and the minifigure displays are always welcome.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Lego has outdone itself once more with the Lego Back to The Future Delorean; an icon of cinema which stands the test of time (pun definitely intended).
Given options to outfit the 'hero' vehicle from each movie of the trilogy in their respective (and let's be honest, iconic) setups, the construction was a breeze.
Made all the more entertaining were the randomly-disperesed tidbits of information about the deloreans used in the making of the movies.
A thorough, sturdy build with neat features such as a light-brick to give the famous 'Flux Capacitor' its familiar glow, the hidden lever to convert the DeLorean to 'Hover Mode', a case of plutonium, a scale hoverboard and the detailed greebling on the exterior all come together for a splendid build that absolutely deserves to be displayed in pride of place.</span>
