Many steps in this build were baffling and made the process difficult. For example, the entire rear chassis of the DeLorean is super detailed but the instruction have you build some of the exterior parts before the interior parts which creates a frustrating experience when you try to complete the whole rear. Further, the decal for the flux capacitor is on a separate sheet by itself then the other decals. So, of course, I couldn't find it for like 3 days. It slid inside the box and I located it but I do not understand why Lego didn't just put all 14 decals on one sheet. Why put 13 and then 1 separate? The positives are its super detailed and cool looking with the ability to conform the time machine to the movie of your choosing. I just don't understand the mechanics behind the directions. I wish that was more user friendly.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-03-06</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2024-03-06" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1157500669"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">F1fan</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Loads of spares and missing parts</span> <span itemprop="description">Completed the build and came to the option of car 1,2 or 3. Decided on the classic BTTF1 car. Completed the build and happy with the finished car. I thought I would build the parts for car 2 and 3. My issue was to build these parts means cannibalising one or both of the previous cars extras to build.. Its about 6 or 7 bricks that lego could have included in the set at no cost. The reason I say no cost is due to the fact I was left with over 40 spare bits. Also missing 2 1x2 clear blocks to put under the car when in flying position. Otherwise the car looks great in any design. Doors and wheels work well. Will add some lights and display</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-03-03</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2024-03-03" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1157027228"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Lakeshow</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Lots Of Fun!</span> <span itemprop="description">I've been building Lego sets since the early 80's and this is by far the most fun set I've ever built. Its a little pricy, but overall it's worth it!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-02-25</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2024-02-25" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1156684740"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">JuniorReservedSnake</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Brick missing, disappointed</span> <span itemprop="description">I was enjoying building it then I got to pack 4 and a brick was missing. The designers have recreated the subtle and iconic shape of the DeLorean to its utmost near perfection despite a few flaws. It is immensely a satisfying build experience. However in my case I took it up a notch higher by adding a few extra interior details that was was challenging due to restricted space but really rewarding. What I added was the following:- 1. Behind the driver seat, a field containment system (Christmas tree) with the fire extinguisher 2. Behind the passenger seat the time circuit panel with Torin blower 3. Bottom floor - added some tiles and foot pedals 4. Centre console - added two extra printed pieces (slope and tile) and replaced the the gear stick with mic, better scale representation. Lastly my other gripe was the use of mostly off-colored pieces that just looks awful underneath the car. Thanks to some Lego Youtubers, I was able to replace many off-colored parts with mostly grays and black and this gives a more polished clean look. The designers seemingly attempted a good job but dropped the ball in few areas. Overall, a brilliant construction model for display.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-02-19</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2024-02-19" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1155418384"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Javier</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Truly entertaining</span> <span itemprop="description">It was very fun building it, enjoyed it a lot I highly recommend it if you&rsquo;re a LEGO fan!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-02-11</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2024-02-11" /> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection').style.display = 'none'; } </script> <!--end-reviews--> <!--begin-pagination--> <ul id="bvseo-paginationSection"> <li class="bvseo-paginationItem"><a class="bvseo-paginationLink" href="https://www.toysrus.ca/en/LEGO-Back-to-the-Future-Time-Machine-10300-Building-Kit-for-Adults--1-856-Pieces-/F4C09B74.html?bvstate=pg:2/ct:r">LEGO Back to the Future Time Machine 10300 Building Kit for Adults (1,856 Pieces) Reviews - page 2</a></li> </ul> <!--end-pagination--> <ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">y_2024, m_3, d_28, h_10</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.38</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasreviews, tv_6, tr_217</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_CA, sid_F4C09B74, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=SUBMISSION_TIME, direction=DESCENDING)]</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_toysrus-ca</li> </ul> <!--end-bvseo-reviews--> <ul id="BVSEOSDK_meta" style="display: none !important;"> <li data-bvseo="sdk">bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0</li> <li data-bvseo="sp_mt">CLOUD, getReviews, 5ms</li> <li data-bvseo="ct_st">reviews, product</li> </ul>
