The car is awesome and I forgot it had the hover wheels mode. The illuminated flux capacitor is awesome. The build was great except for a few steps where the car seems fragile for thing to click into place. I went with the back to the future 2 version and this is where I have a few issues. In the sequel future version, when the wheels are in hover mode and supported by the clear blocks. The nose of the car has a little flex to it. Like it could use a few bricks to tie it into the rest of the car a little better. It&rsquo;s it&rsquo;s not loose but I can see the flex by the windshield when lifting it off the clear blocks. If it could be improved, I was it came with more bricks and parts to make it interchangeable between movie versions more easily. Once you build one version, you need to disassemble the car and ride bricks to make other versions. Mostly the tires, the hood for BTTF 3, some bricks for the base of Mr.Fusion vs the first movies fan. A first I was hesitant due to the cost, but not after I built it. I took me a few days with all the bags and taking breaks. Over all the instructions were good, a few spots made me think about things. Some reviews mention the doors don't stay open on their own, Lego must have made changes, as mine stay open without issue. Finally I like the fact you can decide which version to build, Movie 1, 2 or 3. For now I have started with #1, but plan to add lights and may change to #2. I really enjoyed the details; the folding wheels so it can fly, the flux capacitor that lights up, the gull wing doors, and all the other visual details. Also you can build it to look like the car from any of the 3 movies. It&rsquo;s only missing one element that would have made this perfect, a little sticker for the 88mph display on top of the dash board. There&rsquo;s a photo of it in the movie car on the instruction manual, but that element is missing from the model. Those clear pieces for the bottom fall off all the time as well. So, some pieces you can't get apart at all ( which is good ) but too many of the funny shaped pieces don't want to stay together. The finish results were amazing 🤩 the car itself looks exactly like it does in the movies I think it&rsquo;s better that you get to pick 3 modes of the car a plus tbH . There is 2 thing that does bother me a lot , the wheels ! They keep falling off when it&rsquo;s standing Ik it&rsquo;s a collectors choice but it would&rsquo;ve been nice for it to be movable . Also the doors don&rsquo;t stay up :( like it would&rsquo;ve been better that way but Other then that I think it was a bit overpriced but I wanted this set so much bc I love love the movies ! Take your time and make sure you have the correct pieces for the current step that you are currently working on. Had to go back a couple of steps because I used the wrong pieces in the build in the wrong sequence. The other thing, and this is important. Make sure you use Windex to apply the stickers in the latter steps of the build and make sure you put the right stickers in the right place on the interior part of the dash. I found that using Windex makes positioning the stickers a lot easier than not using it at all. It was one of the most frustrating sets I have ever built. At times, I felt like I needed E.T. fingers to put it together. The order of some of the steps did not make sense and I found myself reverse building it at times in order to make it easier for myself. The doors do not operate properly. You have to use something to push the seats towards the windshield in order to close the doors. A lot of the pieces are not attached very well. Overall, the set has very little strength. If your intention is simply to put it on display, you may not be disappointed; however, even with that, I suspect you may need a few cans of lacquer to keep it together because I fear a breath may be all it takes to wither this set back to its individual pieces. It just brings back so many memories of my childhood building this - everything about it just screams nostalgia. The way the wheels swing is great - it is just a fabulous design. The only feedback I would have would be that it would have been great if they had the extra bricks to be able to build the 3 versions separately - i.e. interchangeable - instead of dismantling the old one and using those bricks to build the new one.
