The dinosaur is easy to unbox and only requires a one time assembly to snap on the tail. I like that the arms move not only up and down, but also swivel outward. It&rsquo;s very easy to move the legs to get it to stand on its own. There is a sliding button on its back to turn its head and make it roar. The harder/farther you slide the button is how far the head goes and wide the mouth opens. It&rsquo;s a little difficult for my son to slide it all the way and requires him to use both thumbs. The good thing is that the same action is possible by turning the dinosaur&rsquo;s head on your own. Has a nice weight to it but its not heavy. The dinosaur can stand on its own if you position it right. Really liked the idea of the id scan being built into its back. Definitely cant lose it that way. Has several different sounds. Very sensitive to being set off. Sometimes the sounds overlap. A slight twist of its head and a roar or growl is produced. A good volume too. Not obnoxiously loud. You attach the tail after you take it out of the package and then are able to articulate the arms and legs. There is a dial on the back that moves the head and makes different sounds depending on which way you turn it.
