Toys r us are great just do not ever buy from Jetson or any of its affiliates!! Used for the first time on the weekend and Led lights underneath keep shorting out every 30 sec or so. Handle bars keep sliding down every 10 min...yes the pin is clicked in and the stem clamp is super tight...any tighter and you would need a hammer to close it. Called customer service to correct the problem. I was told that there is no warranty to Canadian's for the electronic parts of the scooter only American's get the electronic warranty....WHAT?? LOL..this was purchased in Canada. For the handle bars sliding down i was told they will replace the part but i have to pay for shipping because i live in Canada...WHAT...LOL...This was purchased before Christmas but i thought there was a 1 year warranty and a 2 year if i register. Purchased on 09-28-2020 well within my 1 year...un boxed and Used for the first time on 04-24-2021....End of Rant...... So Canadians buyer beware...this is what you have to look forward too!!! Luckily for me i explained this to the store manager and he is going to fix me up and take the hit on the scooter. This one came with missing parts and half the lights didn&rsquo;t work. Trying to replace the product was a pain due to being cut off chats and having to start over again trying to resolve. In the end the product was not available and was refunded, and I had to pay more to purchase elsewhere. Took it back to Toys R Us who confirmed it was also defective and they pulled it off the shelf. The first set of scooters had issues with the bolt at the base becoming loose after only a short ride. I tightened them many times and finally gave up and contacted Jetson. They were very nice and shipped us 2 new scooters. They were great for the first few rides and now we have the same issue. The one problem I had was that the little silver knob thing that is supposed to pop out into a hole to secure the handlebars was bent back inside the vertical part of the handlebar and it took me a half hour to figure out why on earth is the handle bar sliding down once I've secured it in place with the nut and bolt. The other problem was that I had to use pliers to pull the silver inner part of the handlebar out in order to secure it in place. There are NO instructions on this part and nothing on Youtube about it. That also took me an hour (and then a text to someone for help) to finally figure it out. So it took an hour or so of trial and error because it was sent to me in a way that was not how it should be to put it together. Both my 6 year old and my 8 year old can use it comfortably since it is easy to adjust. It is lightweight and the wheels seem to make for a smooth ride. The lights are great. They turn on easily and my girls love them. Especially in the evening time. My only concern was after hitting a rather hard bump on an occasion some of the lights have quit working. It hasn't effected the performance of the scooter at all, and my girls still love it. It was just a little dissapointing, after little use. Everything else on the scooter works as it should and is quality material. The lights do not effect the kids use of the scooter either. This item is extremely easy to assemble, you simply need to attach the handlebar. The handlebar is adjustable so it grows with your child. For the light system to work, you need three AA batteries which are not included. My son really enjoys the light system as it adds some flair. There&rsquo;s a brake on the back so it can be stopped quickly. It only took a few minutes to assemble and only takes 3 AA batteries to get all of the beautiful LED lights working. The height is adjustable for the handlebars which is perfect if you have different aged kids and heights riding it. My kids really get a kick out of the lights and love seeing it light up especially in the evening. Since it&rsquo;s not electric, the kids get their exercise in when riding this so it&rsquo;s a fun way for them to get exercise in without knowing it. It&rsquo;s easy to fold up for on the go storing. This scooter is made very well . The handle grips really do help her hands from slipping and hurting . I really like how I can fold it up easily and store it without it taking up a lot of space . I would say her favorite thing about it is that it lights up , she thinks that is so cool. The batteries are still going strong which is a great thing I don&rsquo;t have to change them daily. She rides her scooter for at least two hours a day most days since she&rsquo;s gotten it. The tires are thicker than her last scooter so I am really happy about that . She&rsquo;s having a blast I think this scooter will last her a long time it&rsquo;s made very well.
