We were surprised at how smoothly and quickly it can motor along! They love that the wheels light up and of course the bright pink color. The body of the scooter is very sturdy and well made, it's easy to see it is high quality. We followed the instructions and are sure to store it inside and we do not plug it in unless the battery is completely run down. For a steady battery life we make sure it is stored in a warm area (nothing under -5c) &amp; if its not in use for example in the winter we charge it once per month and don&rsquo;t leave it plugged in longer than it takes to get to full charge. The additional boost keeps her going for much longer scooter rides around the neighborhood. We like that once the scooter is charged, it doesn't have to be plugged in after every use. If the scooter is not in use, charge once per month (it takes around 3 hours to fully charge. There's no need to leave it plugged in longer than it takes to get to full charge). This scooter is sturdy, comfortable to ride, and easy to break with too - which is critical for young riders to be able to stop easily. She also loves that the wheels light up! For the summer, we're storing the scooter in our garage for quick access, and because it's best to keep it in a warm space, between 5C and 30C.
