Either the batteries corrode or the machine gets too sticky. I love how the base piece in the Bubble Rush is protecting the batteries from getting any solution on them. The second level catches the drips which means less bubbles wasted. The top level shoots the bubbles and holds the bubble container upside down. The bubbles don&rsquo;t last a real long time before you have to take it apart and put the catch tray drainage into the top again. You have to have brand new batteries or it will not work right. It seems to draw a lot of power to work, slightly used batteries didn&rsquo;t work at all in this. If you do have good batteries this is a lot of fun and making a ton of bubbles. The possibility for endless is fun is there just make sure your prepared to go through batteries. The machine itself is in 3 pieces which easily stacks and comes apart so you can rinse it out. We have a professional corded bubble machine, but this one uses 6 AA batteries, so it can go along to wherever the fun may be! I honestly, wasn't expecting much out of this toy. I am preschool teacher who uses bubbles daily. I even create my own bubbles and wands to extend the fun. But,,,, I was totally blown away by these bubbles!!(Pun intended!) Yes, they do provide a GAZILLION&nbsp; of bubbles, that delight my children immediately! It's very very easy to assemble in under five minutes. The machine does consume the included bubble bottle fairly quickly. .. But.. It's totally totally totally worth it! I've never seen my little ones more excited and engaged in bubble play than with this toy! The bubbles literally stream out like crazy! The bubbles produced are varied in size, but all are rainbow colored and gorgeous. My preschoolers were totally engaged and thrilled! It comes with a three-sectioned no-spill modular design including a removable washable top, And also a solution recycling tray and batteries and motor sealed inside base. It does include an 8 oz. bottle of Gazillion Premium Bubbles solution. It does require 6 AA batteries required, NOT included, so if it's a gift, please also buy the batteries.
