The other swings we had were expensive that this Fisher Price Deluxe take along, had less features and were not easy to carry from one place to another. This swing and it&rsquo;s features outweighs earlier swings we had for our older kids. This swing is really quiet, is best for infants &amp; NEWBORNS! Most swings are made to address multiple ages and this are not comfortable for infants. This swing has one speed vibration option, multiple music options including songs and nature noises, 5 speed swing option, volume control, lock option to make the seat stationary. The best part is that the body pad is machine washable. The swing itself is lightweight and it makes it easy for mom to move it with ease. It is compact so it doesn&rsquo;t take up much space and can be put on the anywhere, including kitchen and it operates super quiet!!! This swing is one of my favorite swings I've ever used. My daughter is about 20lbs at 5 months and this swing is so strong I can't turn it all the way up. I love how the swing isn't large and bulky and can be easily put away. This swing has music, vibration, and nature sounds along with volume controls. The one thing I would change is for it to use a plug. I assembled in 20 minutes which was good. The actually practicality of the swing is awesome. It swings at low speeds as well as high speeds. It even folds to be stored away! Baby loves to sit in the swing and just look around or swing and listen to music. There are locking seatbelts that allow child to Ben locked securely which is great because baby is kicking and moving about a lot. Great product! I really wanted to like this swing. It&rsquo;s super cute and I love that I can take it with me when I&rsquo;m away from home, but unfortunately my son is way too big for his age for it. the seat material is tight with no stretch so it does not dip in enough for my son to sink into it, allowing him to try to sit up away from back of seat. The straps also do not offer enough slack on the shoulders to strap in a chunkier baby. The straps weee cutting into my sons shoulders and I had to sit him up pretty high to get the to reach the bottom buckle to latch in. We decided we should try a traditional back and forth swing instead of the side to side/up and down on the Mamaroo. And we are much happier with this one. It has very nice colors and isn't obnoxious in style like some others are. My son likes to sit up straight in it and look around for awhile, but then slowly his eyes start to close and he ends up asleep in it. I like that it has a vibrate function also and that can be used along with the swinging motion or on its own.
