<span itemprop="description">I bought this prior to the birth of our child, unfortunately too far in advance to return it after she was born and we found that the swinging mechanism would catch and jerk to a stop suddenly. If you make the mistake of buying this product be sure to test it right after purchasing so you can return it if you run into the same problem.</span>

<span itemprop="description">(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This swing was given to me as a baby shower present. Upon assembling it (as per instructions), I felt that the hinge on the pre assembled seat itself (connects seat to back rest) was very loose. It could fold up easily enough that it only required one finger to do so. Great for packing it up, but doesn’t instill very much confidence that the seat will fold up on itself with the baby in it. I called FP product support and the representative ran through some troubleshooting tips which did not secure the hinge mechanism on the swing. He had then set up a replacement seat to be sent to my house. I received the replacement only a few days later which I was pleased with. Upon setting the second swing up however, I was equally unhappy with the flimsyness and looseness of the hinge on the seat. I had since looked one over at a Babies R Us location and the hinging mechanism was much more tight and required two hands at least to close the seat up. Also upon installing the second seat there was a buckle missing that connected the seat cover to the housing unit.
Overall, I am displeased with the sturdiness of this seat. Quality control of this product is poor. I have since shown it to several parents and others have agreed that it’s flimsy and potentially dangerous. I’d rather something that feels safe/sturdy than something that can be folded up by the strength of one finger. I would not buy or recommend this seat for anyone. I am however pleased with the response from customer service but the product is inferior.</span>
