So straight out of the box it was pretty straight forward on how to put it together, easy peasy! I love that! It also was easy to find a tight safe spot on the crib and fits really nicely on the back of the non curbed part of the crib. My daughter loved it when I turned it on the different variety of music is super nice and so soothing! An these little butterfly dogs are simply the cutest! I do wish that the straps were long enough to go over the top of the crib where it arches over, then I think the projection feature would work better. Because when put on the side of the crib it just puts it in the corner and I wish it would change colors instead of being just white. I also wish the remote would actually stop the mobile and turn it off instead of just changing the music. Overall it's adorable and precious and for my dog loving family it's just fine!! It is portable so part can be used on a table top or shelf and the mobile can be attached to the stroller. It&rsquo;s super simple to attached safely to the crib. I really like the music. It&rsquo;s soothing and perfect for baby. The movement of the mobile is the perfect speed- it engages babies eye tracking and isn&rsquo;t overly stimulating. The muted colors and bears with butterfly wings make for a sweet touch. It lights up and displays stars on the walls and ceiling, which is very bright. I wish there had been a switch to dim the lights. I like that I have the option of selecting between white noise, music, or nature sounds. The mobile has an auto shut-off after 30 minutes which saves the batteries. I'm a fan of this mobile having multiple functions: the mobile as a whole, the star dome at the top can be separated and placed on a dresser while still having the sound and light display, and the rotating bears can be clipped onto a stroller, using the green ring, for on-the-go use. My other 2 kids (2 and 4yrs old) love playing with it as a night projector and love using the remote that comes with it. However, at first they were getting very frustrated with the remote as it has a delayed response when pressing the button and they would push it many times before it came on. Also, the unit seems slow to start up too when turned on from the base. I like that you can easily take the mobile off and use it in the stroller. Some things I didn&rsquo;t like was that the motor was a little loud and attaching it to the crib was a little more difficult cause I have a crib that is more bulky. I got it to work but it doesn&rsquo;t sit flat like it should and it is kind of tilted and hangs slanted so it makes me worry about it falling in the crib.
