It is perfect for a growing child. The convertible car seat grows with your child which is so nice when you have a child that grows so quickly like mine. The design is sleek and it is easy to install. The harness is safe and keep the child snug. It can be used for forward and rear facing and stays with your child up to 65lbs. The five point harness is easy to use with one hand which is nice when you have multiple kids with you and your trying to get them all in their car seats. It was on sale at a retailer near us so we picked it up at an amazing price. We love this seat! Our daughter is so much more comfortable in this seat than our Diono one in our other vehicle. This one has much more padding. We use this in our Toyota Matrix with a rear facing 1 year old. Our daughter is very tall and this seat is perfect. She has lots of headroom to grow into still. The harness is easy to buckle and tighten (there is a dial you turn on the side and it clicks as it gets tighter) - and the seat has little slits on the side to hold straps out of the way when putting your child in which is awesome. The cup holders have elastics on the side so they stretch to accommodate all sizes of cups. Installing using both the latch and seatbelt were pretty standard for a convertible car seat. It was fine for travel, but my son, who is bigger than average, maxed out of the weight before he was ready to move into a booster. It is also very cheaply made; the clips that hold the fabric in place snapped along the bottom of the car seat. It is also just a basic plastic shell over a metal frame so it's not particularly comfortable for the child (in comparison, our diono has a memory foam cushion in the seat).
