In the beginning, my daughter would play and sing with the doll, singing right along with JJ, however, now she seems less intrigued. When she hears the music she starts to sing most of the time. The sound is pretty clear. It is very cute and just the right size. His little hand accessory is fun and adds to the character. Overall it is a cute basic toy that is limited in imagination.
