We just recently moved into a new house and this toy was a hit with our youngest daughter. It keeps her busy, and it helps with her motor skills. She loves the little animals too, and it is fun to watch her interact and play with the magnetic blocks. My son was just a little over 6 months old when we received these and out of the box, I thought they would be too advanced for him. I &quot;clicked&quot; a block with some other pieces and they unclicked pretty easily. I didn't like this at first but realized that this toy is for him and not for me, and it will be easy for him to take pieces on and off as his dexterity improves. On that first day, he immediately grabbed a piece and put it in his mouth! Perfect! He started grabbing the wagon wheel piece and ended up spinning it. That's exactly what you're supposed to do, baby! Good job! We've had these for about two weeks now and they are always out and in his mouth. It's also given me something to play with while he grabs and mouths at his toys. Overall, I am very happy with these activity blocks. He was mesmerized as we played together with them and I showed him how to use the magnet feature. We practiced color recognition as we played with the different pieces. My grandson spends hours shacking and stacking them. let your imagination run and create stuff. I highly recommend them as starter building toys for beginner builders. I like that the blocks are a larger size, but still easy for your little ones to handle. I also like that the blocks are super lightweight. They&rsquo;re also made of plastic and very durable. The plastic surface makes them easy to wipe clean. I blocks have built in magnets that click to lock together. There are clear indentations and protrusions on the blocks to show where and how to attach and lock the magnets on the blocks together. The magnets inside the activity blocks are strong and attracts the opposite magnet nicely. My 2 year old only needed a few tries to get the hang of how to work the magnets and he&rsquo;s been playing it ever since. My 3 year old was able to figure it out instantly. My only con is that the activity blocks are sold as sets and the pieces in each set are not enough to build with. This Click and Create set comes as a 20 piece set with 3 building blocks, 2 wheels, 4 characters, and 11 various sensory attachments. The innovative wheel pieces let us turn the blocks into a little car, and the cute animal pieces make for fun little characters to drive. I mentioned in my review of the other set that these are a great introduction to connecting building blocks, and that&rsquo;s even more true for these.
