Looking at the picture, I was nervous that the pieces would be too small for little ones. I also was nervous that with it being magnetic, that little fingers might get stuck in between the blocks. But both concerns were alleviated when we opened the package and played around with it! The magnets are strong enough to hold the pieces together but not strong enough to click together with something between them. The additional pieces are cool because they have different sensory or fidget features (spinning color wheel, small balls in a shaker piece, etc.) The colors are vibrant and all of the animals that attach to the top are cute and good for small hands to try to grab. The baby enjoys picking up the different pieces and exploring the shapes and how they stick together. My older child also likes to take apart and put it back together.
