I was very hesitant because with a 2 year old and a 1 year old nothing stays nice. These boys destroy every toy, and we'll everything else too. This has been the only thing that has stayed looking brand new!! It is heavy and doesn't feel cheap. They used it in their room for a year before I decided I wanted to use it for the hallway (because of holidays and the amount of people that will be in and out) and it's working great! It still feels sturdy even with adults sitting on it. I recommend kid kraft items to everyone. The item looks larger in the picture . I purchased for my 5 year old thinking it would be a nice reading &quot;nook&quot; but really meant for a toddler(2 year old ). The &quot;nook&quot; is more like a seat.
