I see the negative reviews so I had to say that my experience has been different. Ours put together very well, there has been minimal scratching to the paint even after years. Edges are damaged and missing paint, but I figure for a young child it would be fine. Then during assembly it&rsquo;s impossible to put some of the screws in all the way without cracking boards. Item arrived with box intact. However once assembled we noted that the unit had edges peeling and chips. Looks worn or previously used. We got it with a few scratches and stains and the cushion wasnt aligned at all. We had a rough time putting it together because the screw holes were not aligned. They are sending a new cushion but Im disappointed for the scratches. Overall my daughter is pretty happy about it.
